Architecture-Design-in-Education: Exhibit and Fundraiser 2023

This past Tuesday, August 29th, I visited the Architecture-Design-in-Education Exhibition + Fundraiser. Big thank you to those who have donated! Your contribution will help to provide classroom resources and materials for underserved K-12 schools in Philadelphia, enabling students to have access to design education each semester!
Over 3 weeks of fundraising $506 was raised making the total donation amount of all fundraisers together reaching $7,377 with 87 donations!
The exhibition showcased exceptional work from students across different grades, from model-making buildings and cities to printmaking! It was an inspiring experience to talk to this semester's architect/designer volunteers about their classroom experiences and to hear about their passion for engaging students with design thinking.
